โ€œmemory of the night you did not come home compressed to 384 framesโ€, video, 2023
Inspired by the idea of recording and compressing memories for the future, โ€œ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ง๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐ก๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ’ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌโ€ is a single-channel silent video wherein flowers, similar to the ones I can recall from my grandmotherโ€™s time in the hospital before she passed away, were gathered and frozen. They were eventually melted to give an impression of memories integrating into different parts of consciousness, as if melting and fading into different periods of our lives โ€” every choice we make and thinking we do, mixing up the sequence and altering each frame.
